Red and Green Tree Crown

Here are some inside pictures of one of my Tree Crowns. Love the way it fills out the top of the tree!

The ribbon looks a little pink but is really red, a little overexposed.

New, and only from Created Twists...Burlap Tree Crowns for Christmas!

So far I haven't seen anyone with one of these, so mark the date as my introduction of the
Burlap Christmas Tree Crown!

I sold a few of these at last week's craft show and the interest was very good, so I'm officially offering it to the public.

A great way to add a ribbon to the top of your tree and interest all around the tree.  It can be decorated with holly sprigs, tree sprigs, acorns, pine cones...or with nothing but burlap ribbon and a bow.  No more needing to create a new bow for the top of your tree, just place the tree crown on the top of your tree!

This is not just a wreath placed on top of the tree.  I have woven the burlap around a smaller frame so that the bulk of the burlap loops are on the outside of the frame.

See how much fuller the side view is for the tree crown on the right.

They are not made to be viewed as a wreath, but from below looking up into the tree.

These are pictures of two of my tree crowns, look for more to come! I love them and hope you will too!  Contact me at createdtwists@aol.com for more information.

Burlap Christmas Wreaths with Magnolia Leaves and Berries

This one has a red ribbon offsetting the striped central ribbon.

This burlap wreath uses gold bay leaves to bring out the gold in the striped ribbon.

I've Been Having Fun!

All year I've been collecting materials for the new Holiday Wreaths.  I had ideas of how I'd be putting them together, but until I do, I never know what will work or what won't.  Last week I really struggled making my ideas come together, but after another trip to my wholesaler (like I really needed any new materials!), they started to come together.  Here are a few and in a couple of days I'll post some more.

I'll only be attending at two craft shows this year, Marist Holiday Traditions, on November 8, 2014 and Apple Annie's Arts and Craft Show on December 5-6, 2014. As always though, you can contact me directly about any wreath!

New Ideas For A New Year

I've been moving to create more natural wreaths in the past year and I am experimenting with different types of natural (or natural looking) wreaths.  Here are a few I have come up with.  Not to fear, there are plenty of burlap wreaths coming up for Christmas!

Hostess Gift for Tailgates

I had given a couple of my friends lanterns decorated with burlap bows and sprigs of greenery as gifts.  One of my friends requested one to give her hostess for this past weekend's tailgate.  I love the idea and it's a very easy, but great hostess gift.

I had some difficulty finding the lantern, but I love these little chalkboard stands for gift sentiments. Enjoy!

Indian Summer and Fall Burlap Wreath

Here's my last wreath for the summer and I'm offering it up as a Fall wreath. I hate to say good-bye to the summer, especially since it really is still summer! As a crafter however, I have to move onto the Fall and offer up the next season's wreaths.  Here's my last hoorah for the summer.  A Fall/Indian Summer Burlap Wreath  with orange and yellow flowers paired with a bright silk plaid ribbon. I love it and hope you do too.  It will be on my front door unless it sells.

Football and Floral

A few more to celebrate the upcoming seasons--Fall and Football.  I don't have access to licensed merchandise but I do have access to a limited amount of colors and designs to show your team colors.  Contact me to see if I can make one for you.

I've also created a fun floral burlap wreath to liven up your front door for the season.  Hope you enjoy!

It's Time for Fall!

I hate to say goodbye to Summer, but luckily I live in Georgia and I won't have to for quite a while. Even though it can stay quite warm, I still like to welcome the new season by decorating my home.  Here are some new wreaths for the new Fall Season.  Let me know if you like them.  Also, they are all available on my Etsy shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/CreatedTwists.

My Basic Burlap Wreath Dressed Up with Ribbon and Pip Berries.

I love the Scroll Burlap Wreath for Fall and I added the mini pumpkin garland this year.

The Orange looks great on this Gray Chevron Burlap Wreath. I also added the mini pumpkin garland to this customer favorite and love how it turned out!

Happy Fall Y'all!!
